Festival of Champions 2019 - updated

Itinerary
8:00 a.m. – Drumline members report to band area (by police academy) to unload, warmup, and load to head to the Multi-Purpose Building.
9:30 a.m. – Drum-line performs at the Multi-Purpose Building. All band members should be present at this time. You may leave your items at the camp site and walk to the Multi, or just meet us there.
After drumline performance - Watch bands or drumlines.
11:30 a.m. – Lunch provided by the Band-Aides
12:00 p.m. - Guard warm-up?? Whatever Coach says. 😊
1:00 p.m. – Guard performs at the Multi-Purpose Building – all band members should be present.
1:30 p.m. – Begin suiting up
2:05 p.m. - Begin warm up
2:30 p.m. – Head to gate
3:00 p.m. – Field Show Performance
3:30 p.m. – Drop stuff off at camp - instruments and hats. DO NOT REMOVE UNIFORMS YET!
Head back to stadium for performances at 3:30 and Preliminary Awards.
Finals begin at 5:30 p.m…Schedule tba if we make it. Otherwise you will be dismissed.

If we make finals we will get ready to perform! Otherwise, you will be dismissed for the day. You can stay and watch finals if you’d like.
You may leave after we perform in finals or stay for results at 7:45 p.m.
Dinner will be provided if we make finals. Time TBA.
--Remember your PINK band shirt, long black socks, your shoes and your gloves.
--Students will be expected to watch performances throughout the day and not wander away from the festival. If we do not make finals you may leave after Preliminary Awards Ceremony.
--All school policies apply. Refer to handbook.
--Tickets are $13.00 for Adults, $10 for Military and senior citizens ($65+), $5.00 for ages 5-7 and free for children 4 and under. Pay in advance so we receive a rebate! Ticket purchase is through Mrs. Sekelsky. Please make checks payable to WHS Band-Aides. Band members do not need to purchase tickets.
--We will need parent and student volunteers to work concessions/ticket sales in the afternoon. We will also need parent and student help to sell Air-Grams all day. People will work in shifts. Times tba, pending approval and information from UCM.
STUDENTS ARE NOT TO LEAVE CAMPUS ANY TIME DURING THE DAY UNTIL THE OFFICIAL DISMISSAL.
